Reflag's next chapter
Over the last few months, we took a hard look at Reflag’s long-term direction and how best to keep building a product we’re proud of.
As part of that process, we considered raising additional venture funding. After a lot of reflection, we concluded that feature flagging isn’t a great fit for venture-scale growth. It is, however, a great fit for a sustainable, independently run business that can focus on reliability, quality, and long-term customer value.
With that in mind, we’ve decided to buy Reflag back from our investors and refocus the company on long-term profitability.
This wasn’t a decision we made lightly. We’re incredibly grateful to Creandum, Project A, and our many angel investors for being open, supportive, and constructive throughout this process.
Making this shift also meant saying goodbye to some wonderful colleagues. That was not easy, and we’re deeply thankful for everything they contributed to Reflag. The upside is that we’re now approaching profitability, which gives us full control over our roadmap and our future, and removes any need to raise venture capital down the line.
For our customers, nothing changes. Reflag remains the same product you rely on, built by a team focused on stability, performance, and thoughtful improvements.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. I read every email personally.
I can’t wait to see what you’ll ship in 2026.
